COPPER IN ARCHITECTURE -

EUROPEAN INSPIRATION

The brand new www.copperconcept.org website is now a reality. This pan-European website is the natural starting point for designers seeking inspiration and information about the wider use of copper in architecture.

The homepage shows an overview of the site and the focus is on straightforward navigation, with a tab-bar finder tool, and fast downloads. For inspiration, it is simple to take a tour of the beautiful world of copper in architecture throughout Europe. Contacts for local Copper Development Associations are available in the Reference section, to help with projects and deal with queries.

Who is behind it?

The www.copperconcept.org  site is part of a wider campaign that is a joint co-operation between the International Copper Association and European copper manufacturers. The campaign aims to promote the use of copper in building and construction and, at the same time, to emphasise the material’s many attributes including longevity, flexibility, versatility and design appeal – with no need for maintenance.

The search function operates for both articles and project references. Press releases, background information and articles by professionals with insight into the use of copper in architecture can be downloaded instantly as pdf-files. Designers can simply choose a country and, with just a few clicks, see what is happening in other parts of Europe.
