Power Quality Knowledge Day to address PQ problems
Deficiencies in the quality of electricity supply are causing business users unplanned downtime, wasted resources and higher energy costs. A nationwide series of free Power Quality Knowledge Day events from the UK’s leading provider of PQ Training aims to address these problems and offer solutions to staff at all levels of an organisation from business managers to engineers and technicians.

Judges for the 2005 Copper in Architecture Awards have announced their choice of shortlisted projects. This design-led competition has been expanded this year to include a new special award for European projects to include a new special award for European projects.

Copper Architecture Awards Shortlist
Judges for the 2005 Copper in Architecture Awards have announced their choice of shortlisted projects. This design-led competition now includes two separate awards for the best recently completed buildings in the UK and in other participating European countries, as well as a cash prize for the best student project from UK schools of architecture.

An innovative project by Oliver Flindall of Kingston University School of Architecture has won the first £500 prize for students as part of the annual Copper in Architecture Awards, with a Commendation going to Dianna Ingram of Aberdeen’s Scott Sutherland School.
